PEVCA Code of Conduct Launch

The Ethics Committee of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Association of Nigeria (PEVCA) is pleased to be launching its Code of Conduct & Professional Standards of Ethics for members of the Association.

The purpose of the Code of Conduct is to prescribe the essential behaviour, expectations, and standards that PEVCA signatories must abide by in the day-to-day management of their business, portfolio companies and business engagements. This Code is aligned with the Nigerian Code of Corporate Governance (2018) and all Members are required to abide by the practices and principles outlined therein.

The hour-long event will include an overview of the document by Aequalitas Capital Partners, as well as a presentation by our guest speaker which will cover corporate governance, transparency, and accountability specifically as it relates to the conduct and relationships between General Partners (“GPs”) and Limited Partners (“LPs”), GPs and their portfolio companies, and GPs and professional service providers. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions as it pertains to the content of the document and its implementation.
