Nnennia Ejebe is a Partner at Adenia, a Mauritius-headquartered private equity firm with a pan-African investment mandate. With approximately 20 years of investment and consulting experience spanning the U.S., Europe, and emerging markets, she leads Adenia’s sourcing, execution, and portfolio support efforts focused on Anglophone West Africa. Nnennia began her career at Monitor Group in Boston before moving into private equity at Sverica Capital in San Francisco, followed by a role at the International Finance Corporation in Lagos.

Since joining Adenia, she has played a central role in executing deals across a diverse range of sectors—from consumer retail to infrastructure—and now sits on the boards of portfolio companies such as Quick Mart and DDP Outdoor in West Africa. Her work balances commercial growth with operational excellence, driving stronger financial performance, improved governance, and strategic development across investee businesses.

Nnennia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She also serves as a trustee of the Street Children Empowerment Foundation and is an active member of YPO. A recognized thought leader in private equity, she frequently shares insights on investment trends, governance, and market dynamics—most recently participating in panels and advisory events such as those hosted by AVCA and KPMG Africa.
